Prof. T. BABUKUTTY

( President )

Prof T Babukutty was born on 28th March 1941 at Pooyappally Kuttiyidayil family. He graduated his degree in Chemistry from Mar Ivanios College, Trivandrum and M Sc from St. Johns College Agra. He started his career as junior lecturer at St. Johns College Agra. He started his career as a junior lecturer at St. Gregorious College Kottarakkara and retired as a the head of the department of Chemistry and as Vice Principal.

During the above term he was deputed as a professor under west African education department. He travelled across Europe, middle east African Countries, South East Asia. He also visited Toc H head quarters at prospering Belgium.

He is married to Prof. Leelamma who is a retired Chemistry Professor from S N College. They are blessed with two children, son Dr. Avinash babu is a Paediatrician and his wife Dr. Tina Susan working at chaithanya Eye Hospital Trivandrum. Daughter Dr.Tisha Ann Babu working at Lourde Hospital Cochin and her husband Dr.Rajesh Simon M. S an Orthopaedic Consultant at Lakeshore Hospital.

He was a member Board of studies Kerala University for Several terms. He is the charter Sercretary of the Lions Club of Punalur. He is a Y’s men and served as Dist. Governor and first Regional Secretary of South West India Region. He is a Rotarian and a past President of rotary Club of Punalur. He is also an active member of YMCA Punalur. 

Er. P T PRAKASH BABU

( Manager )

Er. Prakash Babu is a graduate in Science from Kerala University, and a graduate in Chemical Engineering from Bangalore University. He is a businessman by profession. He is the proprietor of J Bharath Vaidyasala, Punalur, a leading and well reputed herbal medicine manufacturer, distributor and consultant. Er. Prakash Babu is one of the founder members and Secretary of Toc H (Res) Public School Punalur. He had been the President of Rotary Club, Punalur Y’s Men Club, Punalur and Director of YMCA, Punalur for more than two terms. Er. Prakash Babu is the trustee of St.George Orthodox Church, Punalur.

He is very active in Social and Cultural activities in and around Punalur. He is also a member of Toc H (Res) Public School, Thripunithura and Kalamassery. Three years ago Er.Prakash Babu was elevated to the post of Property Manager of Toc H India. He is a good traveller and has travelled in and around the word. He had visited the Talbot House in Belgium with other family members in 2013, where the Toc H was originated. He is a good industrialist, Social worker, agriculturist educationalist and moreover a very good family man

Er. Binu Thomas

( Secretary )

Er. Binu Thomas is the elder son of late Er. Thomas K Thomas and one of the founder members of Toc H School,Punalur, late Mrs Sosamma Thomas. After having his foundation at Infant Jesus School, Trinity Lyceum, Kollam and Mar Ivanios College, he went on to pursue his graduation in Civil Engineering from the University of Mysore. He has gained a wealth of 25+ years of hands-on experience in Botswana, Southern Africa and India. During this time, he also went on to study further obtaining an MBA from the University of Botswana and completing an MSc in Project Management from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.

Binu has an extensive experience of supervising large scales projects from conceptualisation to completion achieving all timeframe, cost and quality objectives. The range of projects includes development projects with houses and high rise apartments, secondary schools and government office buildings. A major project he superintended was the construction of the Attorney General’s Chambers which consists of fifteen floors of office space and three basement levels for a car park in the Botswana Government enclave. It is a prominent aesthetic building in the skyline of Gaborone, the capital of Botswana. One of his other main career highlights is when he provided overall supervision as a Resident Engineer (Structure and Civil Infrastructure) during the construction of a senior secondary school with all facilities in Gaborone with contract value equivalent to Indian Rupees 3,200 crores. He is drawing on this experience to now help maintain Toc H School’s infrastructure facilities and overall management.

Binu is married to Manju, a senior secondary Biology teacher at an international school in Botswana. They are blessed with two children, Shilpa, who has just completed her Bachelors in Actuarial Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and Thomas, who is currently studying Bioengineering at the University of Sheffield, UK. Binu makes sure to dedicate his time and efforts for family and charitable causes. He is acommitted and enthusiastic member of the Mar Thoma Church as well. 

Mrs. Shanty Eapen

( Joint Secretary )

Mrs. Shanty Eapen is the daughter of the founder member Mrs. Ammini George and Late. T.V. George . She did her schooling at Mount Carmel Convent, Thankassery, kollam. She followed her father’s passion for Art and Literature and pursued her graduation in literature and also took a degree in piano from Trinity college of music, London.

Shanty started her career as a trainer in IELTS for the British Council, U.K. And then she moved on to health care. She worked with the Meditrina Group of Hospitals as Administrator. Currently she is co-ordinating the Sweden students of Karlstad University, Sweden with Believers Church Hospital, Thiruvalla.

She is married to Dr. Eapen C Kurian, who is an Anesthetist for Believers Church Hospital, Thiruvalla. They are blessed with two sons. The elder son Kurian is working as HR Manger with Savavi group, Oman and the younger son George is working for Titan Eyecare plus as Technical services and operations Head.

PROF.(Dr.) P. T. SANTHOSH BABU M.D.S

( Treasurer )

Treasurer of Toc H (Resi) Public School, Punalur. He is the Professor and Head of the Department of Pedodontics in Azeezia College of Dental Science and Research, Meeyannur, Kollam.He is also having private dental practice along with his wife Dr. Sobha Santhosh at Jaya Bharatham Dental Clinic & Orthodontic Centre, Punalur .

He had completed his Bachelor and Masters in Dental Surgery from Bapuji Dental College & Hospital, Davangere, and he was a Rank holder in Mysore University. As a teacher by profession he is having an important role in the management of the School. He is having a son and a daughter, studying 

Sis. PREMY PRAKASH

( Administrator )

Sis. Premy Prakash a graduate in Commerce and a founder member of Toc H Punalur Branch is elevated to the post of Administrator of the School in 2011. She is the daughter of Dr. K Varghese,Toc H India Commissioner and wife of Er.Prakash Babu and is blessed with two children.

She is also a trustee of Toc H (Res) Public Schools in Thripunithura Kalamassery and Piravom in Ernakulam District. Sis. Premy Prakash is a well experienced school administrator and she had visited Talbot House, Belgium in 2013, Where The Toc H was originated

Mr. VARGHESE CHERIAN

( Director )

After having received firm groundings at the Punalur High School, Ashramam Boarding High School, Perumbavoor and St.Joseph’s College, Bangalore, Varghese Cherian completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the Fatima College, kollam.

He is the son of Late C.K Varghese, a prominent businessman in Punalur. He has widely travelled and respectful of other cultures. He spends a significant amount of time and effort in social and charitable causes and is a member of the following organizations.

- Y’s Mens Club
- Officers Club
- Punalur Club
- YMCA
He is the President, Veteran Athletic Club at Punalur. He has served as the Trustee of the St. George Orthodox Church, Punalur for 6 years and also been the Church Reconstruction Convenor.

He is a very keen sportsman and was one of the best basketball players in Kollam district of his time. He believes in the all-round development of children, with the sporting capabilities a key element in their development.

Varghese Cherian and his spouse, Valsa have been blessed with a son and a daughter. The son is pursuing his Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering and is currently employed with a leading global Oil Services company. Their daughter possesses Master’s degree in English Literature and is the spouse of an Executive Engineers, Irrigation,Kerala State. He is retired Government Contractor and currently keeps himself busy in social and charitable causes. He is a founder Director of the School and currently its Manager 

P.T SUBASH BABU

( Director )

Mr P T Subhash Babu Son of Late P O Thomas Vaidyan, Jayabharatham, Punalur was born in Punalur on 15th September 1954. He had his Schooling in Punalur and was graduated from St. John’s College, Anchal. He is one of the founder members of Toc H Public School, and rendered his commendable service as the treasurer of this prestigious institution over a long period. He was also the former President of Rotary Club, Punalur.
He is married to Smt. Reji Subhash Babu and is blessed with a son and a daughter. At present, his son,Jithu Subhash Babu is serving as a Junior Doctor at Christian Medical College, Vellore 

Mrs. SHEELA BOYD

( Director )

Sheela Boyd completed her Schooling at the Piravanthoor High School. She is married to Boyd Koshy. They have been blessed with a daughter who studies at the Toc H School, Punalur.

She is the daughter in law of the Founder Manager (Late Mariamma Koshy) of the school and currently serves as its director.

The family had voluntarily offered premises to house the school during its humble beginnings, without expecting or receiving any kind of remunerations. The altruistic act was crucial at that juncture for the school to succeed and become the much sought after entity it is today
